AIR CONDITIONING REFRIGERATION OIL USE


PURPOSE

To prevent deterioration of organic components such as O-rings and seals in the air conditioning system, it is important to use the proper refrigeration oil when adding oil to the system, or when lubricating O-rings and seals for reassembly. This bulletin specifies the proper make and viscosity of oil to be used.


REFRIGERATION OIL SPECIFICATION

Only the oils listed below are suitable for use in air conditioning systems on Mitsubishi Motors vehicles:

SUNISO 5GS or equivalents Freol S83 or Denso Oil.

These oils are widely available throughout the United States and can be obtained from most Refrigeration Equipment - Supplies and Parts retailers.
