Power Steering Pressure Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect power steering switch electrical connector, then start engine and check continuity between switch and ground.
2. With steering wheel in the straight ahead position, continuity should not exist.
3. With steering wheel in the turned position, ohmmeter should indicate 33 or less ohms.
4. If readings are not as stated, replace power steering switch.
