Electronic Spark Control (ESC) Igniter

The Electronic Spark Control (ESC) System uses an externally mounted control unit in conjunction with the vacuum advance unit, to control the ignition timing under all engine conditions.
Input signals from the distributor and detonation sensor are monitored by the ECU and the ESC control units. The control units use these signals to control the ignition timing, wastegate control and fuel mixture, for optimum performance.
