OPERATION

The waste gate control valve is a ON-OFF type solenoid valve, controlling the leakage rate of the turbocharging pressure to the waste gate actuator.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

In case of "ON" trouble or hose disconnection on the waste gate control valve, a shock which results from the fuel cut control during overboost may be felt at the maximum turbocharging time.
