REMANUFACTURED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PROGRAM

This bulletin replaces TSB-95-23-001 dated February, 1995 which should be discarded. The changes include enhanced service procedures and reference to Parts Bulletin AI-XX-05-96 for additional affected A/T units.

PURPOSE

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. (MMSA) has an agreement with Component Remanufacturing Specialists (CRS) for an automatic transmission remanufacturing program. This bulletin provides program guidelines and describes how dealers should use the program.

Several A/T units have been added to the reman program. Refer to Parts Bulletin AI-XX-05-96, issued 7/31/96, for A/T reman part numbers. For diagnostic procedures for this program, refer to the MMSA Technical Training Program entitled Diagnosis for Remanufactured A/T Program.

AFFECTED VEHICLES

Certain Eclipse, Galant , Mirage, Expo, Diamante, and 3000GT models equipped with automatic transmission.
