PURPOSE

A Triple Diamond Vehicle Security System is available as a dealer installed accessory on vehicles that do not have a factory installed security system. An optional Power Door Lock Interface Module is available for the security system for vehicles equipped with factory power door locks. This module adds a remote door locking and unlocking feature to the Triple Diamond Vehicle Security System.

Included in the Power Door Lock Interface Module (A999NC1X01) kit is a 7 Pin jumper harness assembly. This jumper harness is not used with the new Triple Diamond Vehicle Security System (A990NA1X01) only with the old systems (A998NA1X01 and A998NA1X02). When installing the new security system AND a door lock interface module, discard the jumper harness (Figure 1). Connect the 7-pin connector from the security system module to eithet connector of the power door lock interface module.
