Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect hood lock release handle.
3. Remove instrument panel undercover.
4. Remove steering column lower cover.
5. Remove instrument cluster hood and upper column cover.
6. Insert the ignition key into cylinder and turn to the ACC position.
7. Using a small Phillips screwdriver or equivalent, push lockpin of steering lock cylinder inward, then pull steering lock cylinder outward.
8. Disconnect key reminder switch.
9. Remove ignition switch segment.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
