Coolant Temperature Switch (A/C Only)

Crank Angle, Top Dead Center Sensor And Coolant Temperature (A/C Only) Switch Location:





REMOVAL

1. Drain approximately 2 quarts of coolant from the radiator drain plug.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the sensor with a suitable socket.

INSTALLATION

1. Apply sealant to the threaded portion of the sensor.

Specified Sealant: 3M P/N 4171 or equivalent

2. Install the sensor and tighten to the specified torque.

Specified Torque: 22 - 29 ft.lbs. (30 - 40 Nm)

3. Reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Refill the radiator and check for leaks.
