Power Steering Pressure Switch: Description and Operation
Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch Location:
PURPOSEThe Power Steering load switch provides a signal to the ECU when there is steering load. The ECU uses this information for idle speed control. When pump output pressure exceeds a preset level, the switch closes, completing the circuit to ground.
LOCATIONThe P/S load switch is located on the P/S pump.
