Dieseling, Run On

SYMPTOM
Engine continues to run after key is turned "OFF", but runs very roughly. If engine runs smoothly, check ignition switch and adjustment.

CAUSE (BY SYSTEM/COMPONENT):

ENGINE MECHANICAL
- Excessive engine temperature

FUEL SYSTEMS
- Fuel injector leak.
- Incorrect idle speed.

IGNITION SYSTEMS
- Incorrect ignition timing.
