Damper Clutch Control Solenoid Valve


PURPOSE
Controls lock-up torque converter function according to the Transmission Control Unit.

OPERATION
When the TCU calculates that the operating conditions are correct, it sends an electrical signal to the Damper Clutch Control Solenoid Valve. The solenoid valve controls the hydraulic pressure acting on the Damper Clutch Control Valve (within the valve body). The Damper Clutch Control Valve controls the hydraulic pressure acting on the Damper Clutch.
