Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair

1. Place selector lever in Neutral position.
2. Place manual control lever in Neutral position, then remove control lever retainer and lever.
3. Disconnect electrical harness, then remove switch retaining bolts and switch assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install, then adjust as follows:
a. With manual control lever in Neutral position, rotate switch body until wide end of the manual control lever aligns with the switch body flange.
b. Hold switch body in position, then torque retaining bolts to 7-9 ft. lbs.
