Magnetic Switch Pull-In Test

Disconnect field coil wire from ``M'' terminal of magnetic switch,

Connect a 12 volt battery between ``S'' and ``M'' terminals.
This test must be performed in less than 10 seconds to prevent coil from burning out. 3.
If pinion moves out, then pull-in coil is operating correctly. If pinion does not move out, replace magnetic switch.
