OPERATION As engine temperature increases, sensor resistance decreases. The ECU monitors engine temperature by the sensor output Voltage and provides optimum fuel enrichment when the engine is cold.
CONSTRUCTION The Coolant Temperature Sensor is a thermistor type sensor.
