Troubleshooting

1. If charging indicator light does not illuminate when Ignition switch is turned to On position (before engine starts), check charge indicator lamp bulb.
2. If charging indicator light fails to go off once engine starts, check drive belt tension and IC voltage regulator.
3. If battery is discharged or overcharged, check IC voltage regulator.
4. If charging warning light illuminates dimly, check diode inside combination meter for a short.
