Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The multiport fuel injection relay supplies power to both IG [ON] and the engine control module. The relay also supplies power to the fuel pump, injector, volume air flow sensor, etc. in addition to the engine control module.

NOTE: Failure of the control relay may interrupt power supply to the fuel pump, injectors and/or the engine control module resulting in start failure.
