Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

1. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector.
2. Check the components on the following pages by the service data and actuator test function, If any abnormality is found, check the body harness, components, etc., and repair as necessary.
3. After repair, check again with the scan tool to make sure that the input and output signals are now normal.
4. Erase the on-board diagnostic trouble code in memory.
5. Disconnect the scan tool.
6. Start the engine and perform running test, etc. to make sure that the troubles have been corrected.
