Ignition Control Module: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. Using a 3 volt power source and an ohmmeter, apply positive (+) power to terminal 3 and negative (-) power to terminal 2. Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2. verify specifications shown;
- With power connected there should be continuity.
- With power disconnected there should be NO continuity.
2. If specifications are not met, replace Power Transistor.
