Fuel Filter: Testing and Inspection
The in-line
fuel filter is a
maintenance item, if there is any reason to suspect that it is clogged or the fuel system in contaminated, replace the unit.
One method of testing the
fuel filter is to take a
fuel pressure reading on both sides of the filter. If the reading differs, replace the filter.
