Impact Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove right-hand and left-hand front splash shields or extensions.
2. Ensure arrow mark on sensor is facing front of vehicle.
3. Inspect sensor frame mounting location condition and ensure it is free from deformities or rust. SRS may not activate properly if an impact sensor is not installed properly.
4. Inspect sensor for dents, cracks, deformities or rust.
5. Inspect sensor harnesses for binds, connectors for damage and terminals for deformities.
