Transmission Control System Relay: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The transmission control relay is used to power the transmission solenoids and pressure switches. When the relay is energized, contacts inside the relay CLOSE and connect a direct battery feed to the solenoid and pressure switch assembly.
