Component Testing
VEHICLES SPEED SENSOR CHECK 1.
Remove the
vehicle speed sensor and connect as shown in the illustration, using a
3 - 10 k ohms resistance.
2.
Use a voltmeter to check for voltage at terminals (2) and (3) when the pulse generator shaft is turning. (
One revolution is four pulses.)
3.
If within the standard value, the
vehicle speed sensor is OK.
If not within the standard value, replace the
vehicle speed sensor.
