Control Arm Bushing: Service and Repair

LOWER ARM REAR BUSHING REPLACEMENT
[2.4L Engine]





1. Apply soapy water between the shaft and old bushing, and pry up bushing using a flat-tipped screwdriver.
2. Apply soapy water to the shaft and new bushing.
3. Drive in the bushing until it contacts the stopper.

[3.0L Engine]





1. Apply soapy water between the shaft and old bushing, and pry up the bushing using a flat-tipped screwdriver.
2. Apply soapy water to the shaft and new bushing and install the new bushing into the shaft at the angle shown in the illustration.





3. Using special tool MB991446, drive in the bushing until it contacts the stopper.
