SERVICE TIP:

If either of these ASTC codes are set, please check for and repair all other codes stored in the PCM before diagnosing the ASTC code. The ASTC-ECU gathers information about the engine and transmission through the CAN bus line from the PCM. The ASTC system will set code 35 and/or code 37 if the engine- or transmission-related data contains an error.
