TITLE: TCL OFF Indicator Comes On with MIL

APPLIES To: 2004 Galant, 2004-2004.5 Endeavor

SERVICE TIP:






The TCL OFF indicator and MIL both turn on when the engine ECU sets a misfire or fuel-related DTC. However, this does NOT indicate a TCL concern. This is a normal function of the CAN system. Diagnose the engine or fuel DTC, make the appropriate repairs, then erase DTC U1120 from the TCL ECU.
