Dimmer Switch: Testing and Inspection
RHEOSTAT RESISTANCE CHECK 1.
Connect the battery and the test bulb (
40 W) as shown in the illumination.

Operate the rheostat, and if brightness changes smoothly without switching off, rheostat function is normal.
