A/C Compressor Clutch Test

A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH TEST
1. Disconnect the A/C compressor clutch connector to the A/C compressor clutch.

2. Connect the positive battery terminal to the air conditioning compressor clutch connector terminal 3, and ground the negative battery terminal to the body of the compressor.
3. If the A/C compressor clutch is normal, there will be a "click." If the pulley and armature do not make contact ("click"), there is a malfunction.
