This bulletin supercedes TSB-06-55-002, to update the PURPOSE section to include additional information. Revisions are indicated by -->.

PURPOSE
The Multi-center display may show the incorrect outside temperature. It may indicate a value more

--> than 68 degrees F higher or lower than the actual temperature. This incorrect reading usually occurs upon initial start up and corrects itself a short time later.

With the A/C on (green indicator light on) and the blower set to the # 1 speed, the A/C may shut off (green indicator light off or fluctuating from ON to OFF). This condition will only occur with the blower set to the # 1 speed and may only happen while driving at highway speeds.

If a customer reports either of the above conditions, replace the HVAC controller with the revised part listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.

AFFECTED VEHICLES
2006 Endeavor equipped with manual A/C built before 5/15/06

PROCEDURE

Replace the HVAC controller with the revised part listed below. Refer to Service Manual group 55A for replacement procedure.
