PCM REPROGRAMMING FOR DTCS P0340 AND/OR P0344

PURPOSE

On some affected vehicles, incorrect software parameters in the PCM may cause the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) to illuminate and store one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):

^ P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit - Bank 1, Sensor 1

^ P0344 - Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1

To eliminate this condition, reprogram the PCM according to instructions in this bulletin.
