REAR INJECTOR PROTECTOR FASTENERS CHANGED - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
The method to secure the rear injector protector to the fuel rail has been changed in production. Effective with February, 2007 production, a weld nut was added to the retaining bracket and a bolt is then used to secure the protector. This Technical Service Bulletin updates the applicable service manuals with new illustrations and revised fastener tightening specifications.
