Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt Torque





Tighten each camshaft bearing cap mounting bolts to the specified torque in the order of number shown in the figure in two or three steps.

Tightening torque: 12 ± 1 Nm (107 ± 8 in-lb)

Front Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt Torque





1. Temporarily tighten the front camshaft bearing cap mounting bolts to the specified torque in the order of the figure (1.)

- Tightening torque: 17 ± 3 Nm (13 ± 2 ft-lb)

2. Tighten the front camshaft bearing cap mounting bolts again to the specified torque in the order of the figure (2.)

- Tightening torque: 30 ± 2 Nm (23 ± 1 ft-lb)

V.V.T. Sprocket
Tighten To 59 ± 5 Nm (44 ± 3 ft-lb)

Intake Manifold
Temporary tighten 3.5 ± 1.5 Nm (31 ± 13 in lb)
Tightening torque 20 ± 2 Nm (15 ± 1 ft lb)

Exhaust Manifold
Tighten To 49 ± 5 Nm (36 ± 3 ft lb)
