Cylinder Head Bolt Torque





Replace the cylinder head bolt and washer with new ones

Tightening torque 35 ± 2 Nm (26 ± 1 ft-lb)
Tighten angle 90 degrees
Additionally tighten angle 90 degrees

Standard value Within 0.05 (0.002)
Limit 0.2 (0.01)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt Torque

Camshaft Bearing Cap:

Tightening torque: 12 ± 1 Nm (107 ± 8 in-lb)

Tighten in two or three steps


Front Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt Torque

Front Camshaft Bearing Cap:

Temporarily tighten the front camshaft bearing cap mounting bolts to the specified torque in the order of the figure (1.)

Tightening torque: 17 ± 3 Nm (13 ± 2 ft-lb)

Camshaft Sprocket
Tighten To 85 ± 5 Nm (63 ± 4 ft-lb)

Intake Manifold
Intake manifold nut 20 ± 2 Nm (15 ± 1 ft-lb)
Intake manifold assembly bolt washer 20 ± 2 Nm (15 ± 1 ft-lb)

Exhaust Manifold
Exhaust manifold nut 49 ± 5 Nm (36 ± 3 ft-lb)
