Keyless Entry System Inspection

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM CHECK

Check the keyless entry system as described below. If it does not work, perform troubleshooting
(Refer to Symptom Chart).

- Operate the keyless operation key to check that the doors and the liftgate [LANCER SPORTBACK] can be locked and unlocked.
- Operate the keyless operation key to check that the answerback function works in response to door and liftgate [LANCER SPORTBACK] locking/unlocking.
NOTE:
The hazard answerback setting can be changed using the customization function. Confirm which setting is activated before performing these checks (Refer to Configuration Function ).
