Measure the smallest outside diameter "B" within range "X" shown in illustration
If difference of outside diameter of thread exceeds limit, replace bolt
Limit 0.10 mm (0.004 inch)

Bolt Tightening Torque
First step Hand tight
Second step 5.0 Nm (44 in-lb) in several steps
Third step 20 Nm (14 ft-lb) in several steps
Fourth step Tighten 90°

Big End Thrust Clearance
Standard value 0.10 - 0.25 mm (0.004 - 0.010 inch)
Limit 0.4 mm (0.016 inch)
