Replace bolts with new ones
First step 35 ± 2 Nm (26 ± 1 ft-lb)
Second step Tighten 90°
Third step Tighten 90°

Cylinder Head Inspection

The grinding limit shall be within 0.2 mm (0.008 inch) in combination with the cylinder block to be assembled





For cylinder head bottom flatness, measure distortion using a straight edge and free gauge. If distortion exceeds the limit, grind and repair it

Standard value Within 0.05 mm (0.002 inch)
Limit 0.2 mm (0.008 inch)
Grinding limit 0.2 mm (0.008 inch)
Cylinder head height standard value 128.5 mm (5.06 inch)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts 12 ± 1 Nm (107 ± 8 in-lb) in 2 or 3 steps





Front Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts





First step 17 ± 3 Nm (13 ± 2 ft-lb)
Second step 30 ± 2 Nm (22 ± 1 ft-lb)
