Linear Air-Fuel Ratio Sensor Check




LINEAR AIR-FUEL RATIO SENSOR CHECK





1. Disconnect the linear air-fuel ratio sensor connector and connect special tool MB991658 to the connector on the linear air-fuel ratio sensor side.
2. Measure the resistance between terminal No. 2 and terminal No. 3.
Standard value: 2.3 - 4.2ohms [at 20° C (68°F)]
 3. If the resistance deviates from standard value, replace the linear air-fuel ratio sensor.
NOTE:
For removal and installation of the linear air-fuel ratio sensor, refer to Exhaust Pipe and Main Muffler - Removal and Installation [2.4L ENGINE] Service and Repair.
