System Specifications

Cylinder Head Bolts:




Install new bolt
First step 35 ± 2 Nm (26 ± 1 ft-lb)
Second step Tighten 90°
Third step Tighten 90°

Cylinder Head Inspection:




The grinding limit shall be within 0.2 mm (0.008 inch) in combination with the cylinder block to be assembled.

Standard value Within 0.05 mm (0.002 inch)
Limit 0.2 mm (0.08 inch)
Grinding limit 0.2 mm (0.008 inch)
Cylinder head height 128.5 mm (5.06 inch)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Mounting Bolts 12 ± 1 Nm (107 ± 8 in-lb)
Tighten bolts in two or three steps





Front Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts:





First step (1) 17 ± 3 Nm (13 ± 2 ft-lb)
Second step (2) 30 ± 2 Nm (22 ± 1 ft-lb)
