System Specifications

Cylinder Head Bolts





Replace a cylinder head bolts with a new one.

Tightening torque 35± 2Nm (26± 1 ft-lb)
Tighten to 90° angle in the tightening order
Additionally tighten to 90° angle

Cylinder Head Inspection





The grinding limit shall be within 0.2 mm (0.008 inch) in combination with the cylinder block to be assembled.

Limit Within 0.05 mm (0.002 inch)
Grinding limit 0.2 mm (0.008 inch)
Cylinder head height 128.5 mm (5.06 inches)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Mounting Bolts 12 ± 1 Nm (107 ± 8 in-lb)

Tighten bolts in two or three steps





Front Camshaft Bearing Cap Mounting Bolts





First step (1) 17 ± 3 Nm (14 ± 2 ft-lb)
Second step (2) 30 ± 2 Nm (22 ± 1 ft-lb)
