AUTO-CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM COMPONENT CHECK

AUTO-CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH CHECK

1. Remove the steering wheel assembly. Service and Repair).





2. Measure the resistance between terminal 2 and terminal 3 when each of the "COAST/SET",
"ACC/RES", "CANCEL" and "CRUISE" (MAIN) switches is pressed. If values measured at the time each switch is pressed correspond to those in the table below, the resistance values are correct.






STOPLIGHT SWITCH

1. Disconnect the connector.





2. Check for continuity between the terminals of the switch.






CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH [M/T]

1. Disconnect the connector.





2. Check for continuity between the terminals of the switch.






TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH ("N" POSITION) [A/T]
