Using special tool MD998051 and a torque wrench, tighten the bolts to the specified torque in the order shown in the illustration. (in two or three cycles)

Tightening torque 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft-lb)
Back off the Bolts to 0 Nm (0 in-lb)
Re-Tightening torque 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft-lb)

Cylinder Head Flatness of Gasket Surface
Standard Value Less than 0.03 mm (0.001 in)
Limit 0.2 mm (0.007 in)

Cylinder Head Grinding Limit of Gasket Surface (Total resurfacing depth of cylinder head and cylinder block)
Limit 0.2 mm (0.007 in)

Cylinder Head Overall Height
Standard Value 120 mm (4.7 in)
