Window Glass: Adjustments

DOOR WINDOW GLASS ADJUSTMENT

Check that the door glass operates smoothly and moves along the door glass run channel when the door window glass is fully raised and fully lowered. If there is a problem, adjust by the following procedure.









1. Remove the door trim assembly Service and Repair).
2. Remove the waterproof film (Refer to Window Glass Run Channel and Door Opening Weatherstrip Removal and Installation).
3. Remove the grommet from the adjusting hole [Vehicles with 9 speakers (Rockford Fosgate (R) premium sound system)].
4. Remove the power window switch from the removed door trim, and connect it to the connector, then set the channel guide mounting bolt to the adjusting hole. (Refer to Service and Repair).
5. Raise the door window glass and loosen the channel guide mounting bolts to adjust tilting up/down of the glass.
