Measure outside diameter "A"
Measure smallest outside diameter "B" within the range "X"
If the difference of outside diameter of thread exceeds the limit, replace the bolt
Limit 0.1 mm (0.004 inch)

Tightening Sequence
First step Finger tight
Second step 5.0 Nm (44 in-lb) alternately in several steps
Third step 20 Nm (14 ft-lb) alternately in several steps
Fourth step Tighten 90°

Connecting Rod Big End Thrust Clearance
Standard value 0.10 - 0.25 mm (0.004 - 0.010 inch)
Limit 0.4 mm (0.016 inch)
