Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION













NOTE:
For removal and installation of the power window switch, refer to Door trim Service and Repair.

REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

[[A]] DOOR WINDOW GLASS ASSEMBLY/ POWER WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

1. Remove the door window glass mounting bolts.





CAUTION:
If any film or the like is applied to a door window glass, use the window glass holder
(Special tool: MB990480) at the outside of the door glass to prevent the film from peeling off.

2. Lift the door window glass, and attach the special tool MB990480 to the glass as shown to prevent the glass from falling.

CAUTION:

Attach protective pates at the power window regulator arm ends as shown to prevent the arm ends from scratching the door window glass at the time of removal [Rear door].

Slant the door window glass and remove it upward from the inside of the door [Rear door].
4. Remove the power window regulator assembly.
