TIRE CHAIN USAGE FOR 2012 MODELS

PURPOSE

This bulletin advises that tire chains are NOT approved for use on any 2012 Mitsubishi vehicle.

AFFECTED VEHICLES

All 2012 models.

DESCRIPTION

Using tire chains on 2012 Mitsubishi vehicles (including the space saver spare) can cause damage due to a lack of clearance from the tire to the suspension and/or body components. Damage due to tire chain use is not a warrantable repair. This information is also provided in the owner's manual.

NOTE TO CALIFORNIA DEALERS:
Consult your legal counsel for advice regarding a customer disclosure statement for vehicles that cannot use tire chains.
