DTCS U1111 AND U1116 CAN TIME OUT/NOT EQUIPPED

PURPOSE





When using MUT-III to read DTCs on affected vehicles DTCs U1111 and U1116 will always be displayed and the message "...CAN Timeout/not equipped" is shown as the DTC "Name". This TSB advises these DTCs should not be diagnosed on affected vehicles.

DTCs U1111 and U1116 always appear on the MUT-III when reading DTCs on i-MiEV and refer to features the vehicle is not equipped with (e.g. F.A.S.T. is not available on i-MiEV).





DIAGNOSIS SHOULD NOT BE PERFORMED ON THESE DTCS AND THEY CANNOT BE ERASED.
