Sump, Replace
1. Drain compressor oil from drain port, discharge port, and suction port.
2. Remove sump without disturbing oil separator.
3. Remove gasket.
4. Thoroughly clean rear plate surface, preventing any dirt from falling into antislug valve cavity.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torquing sump retaining bolts to 8-12 ft. lbs., sump retaining nuts to 14-22 ft. lbs., and drain plug to 4.3-11 ft. lbs.
