Acceleration Cut Control System (ACC)
Acceleration Cut (for A/C) Control Input And Output Chart:
The acceleration cut control (ACC) system is used to improve engine operation by disengaging the A/C compressor when the throttle valve is at wide open throttle (WOT).
When the ECM senses that the throttle valve is at WOT, via the throttle sensor, it opens the ground circuit to the A/C relay. This cuts voltage to the A/C clutch.
