Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Sensor Test:
1.
Disconnect throttle sensor connector.
2.
Using an ohm meter, check resistance across terminals 1 and 2.
Resistance value should change smoothly, without any glitches, from approximately 2 to approximately 10 ohms as the throttle is moved from idle to Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
Replace sensor if it fails the above test.
