Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Vehicle Speed Sensor Test:
1.
Raise drive wheels.
2.
Disconnect the
speed sensor connector, on the transaxle/transmission.
3.
Using an ohm meter, check continuity across terminals.
Continuity should open and close as wheels are turned SLOWLY.
Replace sensor if it fails the above test (Located in the transmission tailhousing).
