Throttle Position Switch:

1. Leave Throttle Position Sensor and Closed Throttle Position Switch harnesses CONNECTED.
2. Start engine and warm it up sufficiently. Leave engine running and in neutral.
3. DISCONNECT Closed Throttle Position Switch harness connector.
4. While closing and opening throttle valve manually, test for continuity between terminals 1 and 2.
5. Closed Throttle Position Switch should be OPEN (No Continuity) at Idle and Closed (Continuity) at 900 ±150 RPM.
